Born on June 8, 1995, in Rivers State, Nigeria, he hails from Cross-River State. Growing up in Agungi, Lagos, from a middle-class background, TG Omori began directing stage plays in school and church at the age of 15.
He took his passion for film-making professionally at age 20 after graduating from the PEFTI Film Institute, becoming the youngest professional filmmaker in Nigeria at the time.
