Mohammed Usman Adamu, popularly known as Magnito, is a Nigerian rapper, singer, and songwriter born on September 15, 1993, in Abuja, Nigeria. He is of the Idoma tribe in Benue state, north-central Nigeria.

He had his primary and secondary education in Abuja and later obtained a degree in business management from the University of Jos (Unijos) in Plateau State.

He stayed in Lagos for a while, where he met a friend named Mohammed Basia, who both invested their money in his music career.

Magnito discovered his talent for rap at the university through his friend Philosophy, and together they formed the group “Mic Checkers.”

He started rapping at the age of 19, and professionally at age 24. In 2010, he got the attention of music lovers with his hit single “Medicine Girl” and rose to fame in 2016 with his song “If I Get Money Eehn.”

He has recorded over 50 songs and is signed to Big E Entertainment, owned by Eddie Winebar in Port Harcourt.
