Ray Emodi birth named Chuka Ray Emodi was born on September 4, 1990, to Mr. and Mrs. Emodi, along with his other 3 siblings. He is 32 years old and was raised in Enugu State, Nigeria, but he is an indigene of Anambra State.
His mother, Joy Emodi, was an ex-senator for the Anambra North constituency of Anambra State, Nigeria, while his father, Okey Emodi, is a medical doctor and died in 2019 at the age of 77 (1942–2019).
Ray Emodi is of the Igbo tribe and had his primary and secondary education in Enugu before moving to Nottingham, UK, for his degree education. He finished as a Business Management and Strategic Enterprises degree holder. In 2011, at the age of 21, he furthered his career by moving to Los Angeles, USA, to pursue his professionalism in acting and movie production.
He enrolled in the New York Film Academy in Los Angeles and obtained a master’s degree in fine arts (acting) at the age of 24.
