Early life
At six, Leblanc began learning to play the guitar, bass, and piano. He attributes his love of music to his experiences in the church sanctuary, where his father is a minister. Leblanc reveals on his Twitter page and in the remix of his song “Blessings” that he is of Haitian descent.
Career
Together with his cousin Leo, Fridayy produced his debut tune in 2014. He received producer credit for Chris Brown’s album Breezy in June 2022. Fridayy’s debut song, “Don’t Give Up On Me,” was released in October 2022. He also appeared on Lil Baby’s It Was Only Me album in October 2022. The song “Forever” ranks top on the Billboard Hot 100 at number eight. His debut EP Lost in Melody, was released again in October 2022, this time featuring only Vory as a guest.
