Biography

Chukwuka Ekweani was born on July 16th, 1995, in Kaduna, a state in the north-western region of Nigeria. He is of Igbo descent from Anambra State. CKay’s love for music was inspired by his father, who was a choir conductor at their local church. While growing up, CKay was fascinated by musical instruments, which prompted him to learn the piano from his father. A friend later introduced him to the production software Fruity Loops, which he used to hone his craft.
