Young Jonn (The Wicked Producer), whose real name is John Saviours Udomboso, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer. He was born on February 16, 1995, in Ibadan, Oyo State, into a Christian family of Akwa Ibom descent.
He had his basic education at Ideal Foundation Primary School, Ibadan, and GOF College, Osogbo, Osun State, before obtaining a bachelor’s degree in communication and language arts from the University of Ibadan.
Young Jon’s Career and Achievements
Young Jonn began playing musical instruments as a child and formed a group called AVG along with his brothers before signing with Hit Factory Studio in 2012.
At Hit Factory, he produced a chart-topping single by Olamide titled “Story for the Gods.” He was nominated for “Producer of the Year” at the 2015 edition of The Headies for his work on Olamide’s song “Bobo.”
Young Jonn is famed for his hit single “Dada” and the remix with Davido. He has been credited for producing numerous hit songs for artists like Lil Kesh, Davido, and Olamide.
His music production credits include “Gbese” and “Efejoku” by Lil Kesh; “Biggest Backside” by Davido; and albums including “The Baddest” by Davido, “2 Kings” by Olamide, and “Phyno and Eyan Mayweather” by Olamide.
In March 2022, Young Jonn unveiled his deal with Chocolate City with the release of “Dada,” off his first extended play, “Love Is Not Enough (Vol. 1),” which was released on April 1, 2022. He has since released two singles, “Normally” and “Xtra Cool.”
On October 21, 2022, he released “Love is Not Enough (Vol. 2),” which contains already-released tracks like “Dada” remix, “Normally,” “Next to You,” “Xtra Cool,” “If You Leave,” and “Sokoto.”
